Cylinder heads are stripped, cleaned/decarbonized and assessed, Heads skimmed, pressure tested, valves and valve seats re-cut and lapped, broken valve guides are removed and replaced with new items, worn valve guides are re-lined or replaced if necessary, Hydraulic Tappets are dismantled clean and re-assemble, Valve Clearances are adjusted back to manufacturers specifications, Stud holes and spark plug holes checked for damage and repaired if needed, broken studs can usually be removed saving the original thread.
