We fully strip, clean and assess the entire engine, pressure test all
cylinder heads and cylinder blocks and inform the customer of our findings.
We offer a conversion service for cylinder heads or side valve engines
originally designed for leaded fuel to run on unleaded fuel, to stop valve
seat recession,
Crankshafts are checked for trueness and re-ground if necessary and
polished.
Cylinder bores are checked for wear and re-bored if necessary, they are then
honed to size and the correct cross hatch finish is applied.
Cylinder heads and cylinder block can be skimmed/ decked to ensure the
gasket seals correctly.
We can machine the cylinder block to receive a liner to restore the engine
to standard size or which ever size the customer wants it to be.
We extensively clean all parts before, during and after each process, all
parts are de carbonized stripped and cleaned.
